The FSGeodata Clearinghouse is registered as a Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) node on the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) Clearinghouse Network, a consortium of clearinghouse across Federal, State, and local agencies. It is also a registered contributor of metadata information to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Geospatial One Stop initiative.
The FS Geodata Clearinghouse is sponsored by the Forest Service Geospatial Advisory Committee (GAC), and is maintained jointly by the Geospatial Service and Technology Center (GSTC) and the Remote Sensing Applications Center (RSAC).
